David Jeppsen is Vice President and Acting Chief Representative of the Washington D.C. Office. Among other things, he manages the company’s relationships with the US government and telecommunications and internet industry representatives in Washington D.C. Mr. Jeppsen joined the company in the fall of 2001. Prior to that, he worked for Lucent Technologies as the Regional Director of Public Affairs for Asia Pacific and China, and was based in both in Tokyo, Japan and Washington D.C. Prior to joining Lucent, Mr. Jeppsen was a telecommunications attorney with the law firm of Dickstein Shapiro in Washington DC. Mr. Jeppsen is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Law, where he was an editor of The Journal of International Law and Economics. He is also a graduate, with honors, of the University of Utah, with degrees in political science and Japanese.
